While Blackpink’s Lisa tested positive for Covid-19 – as reported on Wednesday (Nov 24) – the other three members of the popular K-pop group have been cleared of the coronavirus.

The three of them were not listed as close contacts of Lisa.

In a statement from the group’s agency on Thursday (Nov 25), it noted that Lisa is “in very good health with no suspected symptoms”.

YG Entertainment further stated: “Blackpink members Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie’s Covid-19 Real Time RT-PCR test results came back as negative.

“All four members have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations and our company and artistes have been taking great caution in our health and safety through pre-emptive tests from time to time.”

According to current guidelines in South Korea, after a negative PCR test, those who have not been vaccinated are required to self-quarantine for 10 days.

Those fully vaccinated are exempt if they do not show any symptoms.

One report stated that the country has fully vaccinated 79.1% of its 52 million population, while just 4.1% have been given a booster dose.

The Korea Herald also mentioned that Rose – who had recently come in close contact with a person who contracted Covid-19 – had returned from Los Angeles last week after being spotted at Paris Hilton’s wedding in Santa Monica, California, with bandmate Jennie.

Meanwhile, Lisa was also in the United States to promote her solo album, LaLisa. She had returned to South Korea on Nov 16.

Fans of the Thai singer-dancer have been wishing the star well on her Instagram.
