KUALA LUMPUR: Families will be able to enjoy unlimited journeys on trains and buses in the Klang Valley on weekends and public holidays soon.

The “Keluarga Malaysia Pass” which will be sold from Dec 1 will enable a group of up to four to use LRT, MRT, Monorail and Bus Rapid Transit-Sunway Line without limit on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The pass will cost RM15, which will give four Malaysians unlimited rides.

“This means that each rider in the group of four only pays RM3.75 for unlimited train and bus rides,” said Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

“This will allow Malaysian Families to enjoy quality time with their loved ones visiting shopping malls or places of interest along the public transportation lines,” added the Prime Minister at the launch of the Keluarga Malaysia Pass at KL Sentral here on Monday (Nov 22).

Also present at the launch were Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and Prasarana Malaysia Bhd chairman Tan Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim.
