KUALA LUMPUR: Axiata, Hong Seng, Euro Holdings, Classic Scenic are among the stocks to watch on Monday following their corporate news, JF Apex Research said.

Axiata and Indonesian conglomerate Sinar Mas Group are exploring options that could include a merger of their telecommunications operations in Indonesia, according to a news report.

Hong Seng is acquiring a 51% stake in health technologies provider Pow Pocket Sdn Bhd for RM200mil to expand its healthcare businesses.

JF Apex Research said Euro Holdings has proposed to buy two properties sitting on leasehold lands in Melaka for RM117mil from companies controlled by its major shareholder and group managing director Datuk Seri Lim Teck Boon by issuing new shares.

DGB Asia has emerged as the new substantial shareholder of Mtouche Technology after it acquired a 5.26% stake or 48.75 million shares.

Solarvest will be transferring its listing to Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on Oct 13.
